Default Where is the Speed Sensor Located

2001 C70 2.3 went into Limp Mode....had it towed home....engaged after unloading.....tried to take it around the block...went 75 yards and did i again....I will get a code reader with a tranny reader...just want to know where it's located for now....in case codes show that's the issue.....I know I need to flush it also...but other than that...I believe it's electrical...any other possibilities please let me know....

TIA

Karl

There is an Acceleration sensor located on the firewall, illustrated in Chilton 72302 manual, pg. 4-20. Calls for the removal of passenger side wiper arm. Vehicle speed sensor listed in Haynes manual 3573, pg. 12-7, doesn't have a speed sensor but function is provided by ABS wheel sensors, wiring connector located behind ABS module, 2 wires, black connector, fig. 7.1. FYI. These 2 manuals are real good to trouble shoot.

Still no update after a year Still saving for that OBDII reader ?

Might want to swing by autozone or oreilly and have them read it for you

My friend, you seem eager to help people. Perhaps you can tell me where the Vehicle Speed Sensor A is located on my 2004 Volvo s80 2.9. I bought one. Is it difficult to replace?

Or are you interested in #29 in the transmission, or #3 is the axle speed sensor
