Speed Sensor
1999 S70 non-turbo
While driving, ABS and check engine light came on. Speedo went to zero. I stopped at a stop sign and when I accelerated, I practically had to floor it to get around the corner (no power). Shift arrow was also on.
My dad is a mechanic (albeit not a Volvo one) and scanned the car with his fancy scan tool and it said Code P0722 Output Speed Sensor. He told me the speed sensor on the rear of the transmission needs replaced (vehicle speed sensor, according to Volvo).
But, I have been researching and other people with this issue have been replacing ABS control module. I am a poor teacher
and want to buy the correct part, but I don't know what it needs.
