Default window prob....

Hey....i read on a previous post that there was a recall on window seals for the c70....is this with all of them... i have a 99 coupe....would it cover it or am i mistaken? i sure hope so .....please advise...

i thank you for all the help u have given me...

I believe you are mistaken.

There was only I believe one recall on the Coupe it was for the Rear Quarter windows.

Hey tech! What was the recall on the rear quater windows of the coupe for? One of my windows has a small leak, but only when I take it to the car wash.

I forget exactly 100% I believe it was something about the windows being made improperly or something like that.

Once we installed new windows we had to SMASH the old ones.

Does it leak out the back or the from of the quarter glass?

it leaks around the bottom of the glass, from the seal. I think the high pressure of the spray from those self service car washes is too much for it

Some of them have shims in the back that can be removed to pull the window tighter.

How can I tell if I have those shims? And if I do, how can I remove them to make them tighter?

You will have to remove the latch at the back of the window and see if there is shims there.

The front one I believe you have to remove the panel to see.
