Default 2023 XC90 Recharge Loud when running on gas

We got a 2023 XC90 Recharge in August. We have a half tank of gas thats about 2 months old, so I decided not to charge the car for a week or so to burn off the gas that's in there. Ive noticed that the engine is louder and more gurggly than I expected it to be in "gas-mode". Especially when starting from a stop at a light or something. Certainly louder than the Pilot my wife used to drive. I don't think anything is wrong per-se, but I would expect a car of this caliber to drive very quietly.

Any thoughts?

I wonder if it thinks you want to run in performance mode so it adds the gurgles to the exhaust note? I mean the XC-60 variant is a 315 (455 w/electric) hp supercharged turbo equipped 0-60 in 4.4 second beast. I would think the engineers and product specialists programmed a throaty exhaust note. I have a BMW Z4 and depending on what mode you run the car in you will get a fairly quiet experience to a bang, bang blast from the exhaust.

I haven't tried power mode on our 2022 XC 60 T8 Recharge, but when I do switch from Pure to Hybrid, I do notice a throaty gurgle. Maybe it's noticeable because the rest of the time it's so quiet?
