XC60 Charging Cable Light turns red
I haven't seen this on the forum so my apologies if it's a repeat. We bought our 2022 (late) XC 60 T8 Recharge in April. We had several months of on-going issues, which seemed to be resolved the last time we had the car in the shop. For the last 5+ weeks, the car has been trouble-free and a dream to own & drive. I believed a big part of the fix related to getting a new charging cable.
Last night, however, I noticed on the mobile app that the car had stopped charging at about 13%. It was plugged in, just not charging. When I happened to go outside I saw that the light at the "outlet" end of the cable (which is normally white, either blinking or not depending on the state of the charge) was RED.
I unlocked and detached the cable from the outlet and from the car, recycled it (locked and unlocked), and then plugged the cable in. The car seemed to resume charging and this morning it was at 100% / 37 miles.
Any ideas what this might mean?
