I have a brand new XC40 P8 Recharge First Edition and occasionally when I get in the car the A/C doesn't work. I can drive a mile to the shop and the A/C be ice cold, buy milk and bread, get back in and the A/C isn't working, or visa versa or it can work for 2 or 3 days then not work at all for a day?

It's so frustrating because my supplying dealer just want to check the settings and I know it will be working on the day I book it in with them.

So it seems worse when it's a hot sunny day?

I've seen threads on this Forum about supply of early models in USA suspended due to this fault and needed some kind of software reset?

 

You may need to leave the car overnight or several days for them to be able to duplicate your pattern.
