XC60 Climate control not working after system update
My 2023 XC60 Recharge did a system update two days ago. After that, the climate control system is not working. No matter what fan setting I put it at, it hardly blows any air. And the heater is not working at all. It was a mighty cold drive in to work today with no heat and 44 degree temps outside. I have rebooted the whole system no less than 4 times with no luck. Any ideas or has anyone experienced this?
Based on what you're saying here it sounds to me like you have a high-voltage electric heater that has stopped working. Currently I'm on my third one. When the heater is in producing the needed heat in all electric mode, then the system knows cannot blow cold air. I would really like to know what you find out.

2021, can't believe they're still having problems with this thing but high-voltage coolant heater. I checked mine the other day make sure it's working for this winter season and so far it is. Probably should buy stock in the company that builds those things, if they outsource it to someone outside Volvo, as that vendor has been very busy. It said that they're still trying to get this right.
