Default Climate Control - All cold

My climate control does not seem to be working right. If I press "Auto", it just blows cold air as hard as it can, even if I adjust the temperature up into the 70s. If I turn the fan down manually I can get it to blow less, but the temperature is only as cold as it can get. The only way to get it off the cold air is to set it to the "red" section of the temp control.

There is no in between, it is either very cold, or very hot. I am thinking the temperature sensor is not working, which I think is that small grill by the temp controls. I had this exact thing happen on a Lexus and that was the fix.

Sound right? Anyone know what the part costs, or how much of a pain it is to get to?

Have the code read from climate control system.. if no codes stored peformed a Total CAN network software upgrade ($50 or so instead of paying for each individual software and labour seperately) then perform climate control damper motor end stop calibrations. Unfortunately It's a dealer only...

Try blowing it out with compressed air (the small vent) is what I was once told by a wiseman. Worked for me but it's a 50/50.
