I found this thread that tells us no dog mode. And we can't even leave the car running when locked so that's not an option either. Too bad.

But there's also this thread that tells how to enable the Precondition climate button in the Parking menu. It'll work for 30 minutes, which is plenty of time for most quick stops. I don't know if you can lock the car though.
