Just bought a 2021 s60 recharge plugin t8 inscription. I am trying to setup our drivers profile with key. When I start car it shows profile 3 care key. When I go into profiles it shows profile three clicked on but nothing is highlighted to add or edit. The confirm option is also not highlighted. What next?

 

Take the orange care key out of the car and use another - you can change the profile on it. Haven't read how to change an orange key - but you can't do it if it's the active profile.

Yes. You only have One Key(remote)? Should have been at least two - three came with my 2020. Two masters (black keys) and a red (limited) key is what I have. The "Red" key was changed to orange the next year.

The orange key is not a "master" key. Search volvo owners manuals to figure out what the orange key is. Unfortunately a new master key is many hundreds of dollars. Volvo MIGHT be able to "upgrade" (with a software download) your orange key to become a master key.

Who sold you a car with only one key? I'm selling my 2015 and that's one of the first things asked - "how many keys do you have?"

 

I bought my '21 XC60 T8 new and it came w/3 keys. One black master, one orange (I thought thought was just additional key) and a small black key that's waterproof w/no button controls. Can take pinned to a bathing suit into the water. One could presume all the '21 model T8's came same way but ...
So far, I only use the black master and other keys are in the house.
