New member…..can you let me know what tire package you chose for your XC60 T8. I’m trying to figure out which way to go. Thank you

 

Spare tire package?

 

Sorry should have clearer….looking at a new purchase and trying to decide on whether to go with the 19” or 20” wheels…..thinking everyone has their thoughts.

 

I would choose the smallest wheel with the tallest sidewalls. We have successfully curbed a couple of wheels on our 2020 xc with the 20 inch wheels.

And since you don't/won't have a spare on board - a taller sidewall is less likely to get damaged from a pothole

 

Agree with going smaller if you have the option. We did not as our 2022 XC60 Recharge ER came with the 20” (for an extra $1000 I didn’t want to spend) and they wouldn’t switch them out with the 19”s. They look great but I also scraped a curb and it chewed up a 5-6” section of the wheel. Too fragile if you ask me. So avoid it if you can IMHO.
