22 xc60 tire pressure
I have 4-month old Inscription, I noticed the ride was quite harsh over bumps. I checked the tire pressure today and it was 45 psi, the manual says it should be 35. I lowered it and noticed an immediate improvement in ride quality. Not sure why it comes from the factory/dealer over pressurized.

I read somewhere that they overpressure the tyres to prevent flat spotting of the tyres in storage and during transit after manufacture. The pressure should have been checked by the dealership as part of the Pre-delivery inspection.
Thanks for the heads up; I took delivery January 18 but never checked the tire pressures. I went to the tire store today and all 4 tires were at 41 pounds instead of 35. This forum is so helpful.
time to buy a small tire gauge. newer (post 2015) TPMS systems don't measure tire pressure, they sense a difference in rotation speed to detect low tire pressure. You should keep a guage to periodically test/maintain tire pressure. Also note its ok to be a few PSI higher than the factory listed pressure, particularly if you live where there are rough roads/pot holes. I regularly keep mine at +3 PSI since its still pothole season here in the northeast.
