Default 02 Volvo s40 turbo

My Volvo has been having issues within the past month with idling and slow driving, it seems as if the vehicle is not receiving enough gas because it tends to stall out when you stop at a light or intersection. Any ideas?

I'd guess either Idle Air Control valve dirty/failed or fuel pressure regulator failed.

Check your turbo control valve. I know, it seems like a long shot, but I unplugged mine to see if it would cure my turbo woes (turned out to be a mechanical linkage that came apart!) and my car would cut out at intersections. I'm guessing the vacuum system had been barfed up by the TCV being off?

Sounds a lot like a failed fuel pressure regulator, as Hudini says. I just finished creating a guide to replacing it, if you want to give it a shot!
