Good evening.

We have a 2006 S40 with 7000 miles on it. Today, after driving to a friends and visiting for awhile, when we came out and started our S40, a message came up on the message center window saying that "SRS Airbag Service Urgent". Not sure why it came on. What could be the possible causes?

out of curiosity, did you get the car washed recnetly? or did you do anything under the seats like sweep or whatnot?

mine happenned after a car wash, and I had about 2000 miles on it. get to the dealer and have it reset. might take a whoel reprogram, which could take over an hour (thats what hapenned to me).

I've had the car for a year and it never hapenned again.
