I love my s40, just putting it out there. even without the turbo, its a blast to drive, especially with the stick shift. But there is a mild engine vibration when I rev it while in neutral to about 2000 rpm. I mentioned when I had it in for service, but the dealer says there are no problems. am I just being paranoid?

 

I have a 06 S40 5-Speed. I have vibration also and I have just had my 15,000 mile service done. They test drove and all and said all was great. I think you should be fine, if not we are both in trouble.

 

I have worked on more than my fair share of the new s40's, and I have to say, none of them idle perfectly. They all seem to have a slight vibration at idle. I'm not sure what causes it, but I don't think it's cause for any sort of alarm.
