I've just purchased a V40 1.8GDI and I've had what was thought to be a faulty hydrolic lifter problem fixed (OR NOT). it's been in to the garage to have ALL the lifters replaced as that's what the garage said was the fault, the NOISE is still there, although its not as loud, when you start the engine, it's quiet, once the rev's drop down after it's come of the choke you get a load ticking/knocking noise like there is a tappet fault, if you rev the engine to around 2000RPM it goes again, I know the engines have normal ticking from past expirence, but this is not the normal quiet ticking,

I've been looking around the web, some sites say it's oil pressure and some say it's the injection system, I can't see it being the injection system and the car runs as smooth as any thing,

does any one know of this problem or does any one know of a fix (Say to the oil pressure/pump)

Have to oil pressure checked and make sure the oil pan o-rings are not bad.
