Can anyone help my S60 has a annoying knocking noise from the front right hand side, it only seems to only happen whilst driving at slow speeds and over small lumps and bumps in the road. It has been back to my local volvo garage who fitted a new front anti roll bar and rubbers which was not cheap, neither did fix the problem. The car is going back on friday so they can have another look.... Any idea's ?

 

These things will cause a noise like that.The sway bar links and upper spring seats.There might be a couple of other things but those are the most common things.Looks like they replaced the links already.You can your self check the upper spring seats.Open the hood and find where the strut goes through in to the engine compartment.Take a 13/16 wrench and put it on the nut and try to turn it if it turns it is bad.
