1999 S40 2.0T motor mount
Hello all. This is my first post here even I am reading the forum quite bit of time.
My question is about motor mount. Just changed a timing belt, everything vent smoothly up until I started mounting motor mount. I was able to mount only big centre through hole bolt and only two bolts, which is bolted to the engine. Third one just did not align and did not go.
Is it secure, if will run with only two bolts on the engine side for some time? I will fix it (hopefully) by my self or will go to mechanic, but week ahead is very busy for me, so I will be running with only two bolts for now.
So is it safe? Car runs smoothly so far, no vibrations, just runs normally, bit better , than before TB change

problem with doing motor mounts is that the engine can shift when trying to install the new mount. Did you tighten the two bolts before starting the third? I'd think you'd be ok for a short while but you should see about getting the third one back in - you may need to get creative but a shop with an engine hoist should be able to address easily.
Thanks. I did everything whatever I could. Tightening the two and trying fit third one. Having loose two and so on. But without success. Next week I plan to go to mechanic, hope will survive before then.
