Hey guys,

I have a 2000 S40 and I just bought a hard wiring kit for my radar detector. I set it up what I thought was correctly but it's not getting power. I plugged the add-a-fuse into the radio/accessory slot and I know that's set up right because the radio works and that's plugged into the add-a-fuse.

My questions are:
Am I correct in assuming that the S40 is a negative ground car?
Is the screw that I connected the ground wire to acceptable?
What am I doing wrong?
