I'm trying to go a sleeper build don't really know what I can do, I've done a little of research any ideas? So far I'm planning on get a new turbo 14t and swapping it trying to reach around 250hp, I know just the turbo won't do it, this my first car, any advice would help thank you!

 

you will want to also get an ECU tune and depending on your HP goal, consider a larger (3") downpipe/freeflow cat and add a K+N air filter. Not a lot of after market parts for the Gen1s so you will need to research on what vendors are available in your area. Google RICA and BSR to see if they have a ECU flash product for the 2001s.

After that, I'd consider 16-17" wheels, rotor/pad upgrades, a rear sway bar then shocks/springs in that order.
