2001 S40 horn not working
What are the steps to isolate the problem off no horns working.
I checked the 29 fuse and it is OK and I pulled the appropriate large fuse in the other section of the fuses under the hood but could not tell if it was functioning by looking at it.
I understand there is a switch/button under the steering wheel/air bag.
Is there a relay somewhere else to test and if so how to do.
Can I connect a line from the battery to the horn(s) and see if they work or does it need some grounding to not harm something.
Any help appreciated.

Cant help much here but wanna point out when you will hook up the horns directly to the battery.Check the power there first and the polarity. Most horns have the negative pole running trough the switch so just make sure you dont mix up the polarity while testing.
