I have a grinding noise at low speed. It's strongest at 10-15mph. Just rotated tires and inspected them. They look fine.Car drives great. Does not shake when braking. Do not notice noise during acceleration. Very slight vibration at high speed. I had an excessive amount of brake dust when I first rotated tires. Fuel mileage has dropped by 4 mpg. I think the brakes are sticking. What can I looked for before I call the shop on Friday? Does anybody have any suggestions?

 

Could it be the rear brake pad squeelers making the noise?

 

The grinding noise seems to be only one frequency doesn't seem to change with my speed. And it's not loud enough to hear over 10 mph. Doesn't get louder with the brakes. Seems to coming from the front of the car.
