Default 2001 S40 VVT gasket replacement

2001 S40 1.9L with 99K miles.
There's some oil on the timing belt end of the engine block and I suspect the gasket under the VVT actuator/solenoid is leaking. Can I simply remove the four bolts and swap the gasket? Does the new one need to be prepped (coated with oil) or just installed dry? Do I need to adjust anything after re-installing the actuator?

Thanks,

New one goes on dry. Nothing special needed. However, the source is likely either the cam seal or the VVT unit itself. The solenoid gasket is worth a shot though since its a lot cheaper and easier.

And watch the torque on the bolts. I somehow managed to stretch one bolt to almost the failure point. Luckily I did not strip the threads in the aluminum cam cover. It could have been a defective bolt. I don't know.
