Non-VVT engine swap into a VVT car question
I have a 2000 Volvo XC with a dead B5244 VVT coil on plug engine. I would like to swap the motor from a 1999 C70 with a B5254 that has non-VVT, cap, rotor and plug wires and put it into the 2000 XC. Would this engine swap work? What issues would I face doing this type of transplant. Would I need a different ECU?
