Default 2001 volvo s40 p0101 and 0128

Ok, so I've already replaced the Maf, Map (both of them) , O2 (upstream), the fuel pressure reg, thermostat, temp sensor module (or whatever it was called) and the iac valve (motor). I cleared all the codes, drove it a while but couldn't get it inspected because I just cleared them. On, so we drove it a while to go try and normalize the codes. No luck. Now I'm pulling codes 0101 and 0128 again. What else am I missing? Vac lines have seen better days but they aren't bad. The long rubbber boot going to throttle body seems good, no tears or rips. Any thoughts? Help?

P0101 Error

also on the 0128, that's reporting your engine temp sensor is out of range. given you replaced already (and don't have a bad part), I'd look at wiring issues - connectors/ground points/relays/fuses.

I've had a bad (brand new) aftermarket coolant temp sensor from the local auto parts house. Is it a genuine Volvo coolant temp sensor?

I would also get the genuine Volvo t-stat if you don't have one.

Since you replaced the MAF already, I would look for either a fault in the wiring harness or vacuum leaks. 1st I would fix the temp sensor issue then clear the codes and see if this one returns.
