2002 S40 Torque Converter locks up and shakes the car
I want to know is there any way to cut the power to the lockup solenoid to make sure this is the problem before replacing the torque converter. I know most american made vehicles has a disconnect plug for the lockup converter. I found the proper wires in the light grey plug under the hood that operates the solenoid but i don't want to cut the power just to create another problem. It seems every time I try one thing something else goes wrong with this car.Any help at all will be really appreciated. thanks
