I have a 2003 S40 1.9T 107,000 miles. I bought it about 2 months ago, sitting as is, no key. It is in running condition. However, when I bought it there was water in the trunk, maybe other areas. It is at my local Volvo dealer, they ordered a key, $371. They say it will not start, crank, and there is no communication between the computer and vehicle. What should I do? What are the prices ranges? Dealer says $3-4 thousand. I used to run my own auto repair business until recently. I feel there is an easy solution here, just looking for answers from people with similar experiences. TIA
