Goodday everyone I'm new here please i need you advice, when i opened the bonnet i saw this funny pipe sticking out closed with the nut, where is this pipe suppose to be going, the car is s40 2000 2.0l

specific to the pipe, can you post a picture or give a better description of where this pipe (how big is the tube?) is, how big etc. To post a picture you can use the "Go Advanced" button and click the file attachment icon to upload or use the insert image to add a URL if the pic is online. I suspect you are looking at a vacuum line. Is the car running normally?

 

Thank you for you reply, i wouldn't say it runs normally, cause at times it stalls when stopping
