I had the headliner replaced today. Unfortunately, the plastic piece (not sure what it is called) on the sunroof broke. Age/heat had made the plastic brittle. I browsed a few sites to look for the replacement part, but haven't had any luck. Has anyone else run in to this issue or can suggest where I should look?

 

They are sooo brittle and with time worst, let me look for the part number, since Ive been looking for one too..
Who did you get the fabric for the headliner from?

 

Part # 4 shows the item, theres a #3 on the parts list named "profile"
Ill keep looking for the piece of paper I wrote the number down

The headliner was professionally done at an auto/boat upholstery shop, so they already had the fabric in stock.

 

Were they able to fix the liner on the sunroof?

 

Interested to know what the replacement cost was for you?
I got quotes here in NZ. All were over $600.00 so its not been fixed as yet.
