My passenger side windshield wiper is not working properly. Just driving home from work in blinding snowstorm and the passenger wiper appeared to malfunction and got stuck on the driver wiper causing them both to lock up and broke the drivers wiper. I pulled over and took off the passenger blade to put it on the now broken drivers side so I could see to get to a Checkers. I bought two brand new blades and after installing them turned on the wipers only to have the same thing h
almost happen again! I immediately turned them off and noticed the passenger wiper arm appears to be loose and when turning on the passenger wiper arm is now not working properly. The arm does not move at the right speed this why they both keep getting stuck.

Any ideas what's wrong and how to fix it?

The nut holding the wiper arm on might have come loose.
