Does anyone or has anyone been successful in removing the radio face plate on a new 2004.5 S40? I want to install a FM modulator for XM since the radio reception isn't what I would expect.

If you need help in removing any of the other panels or parts around the center console, I've been there, done that.

Hi there Basically to remove the plate by pushing on the two tabs that are behind the plate, I have added an image to show there to find the two retaining tabs, these can be pushed using either a small screwdriver or a hook. once one side is out its alot easier to remove the other side. If you still have trouble let me know
