Hi everyone. New here and I was hoping someone could give me a hand. I'm loking to upgrade the stereo in my 2005 s40, it has the waterfall stereo. I don't have the disc changer or the Nav - so I've read I'm out of luck.

My question is - Can I purchase a 2008+ s40 stereo and have it programmed to my car? IS that even possible? If not, I'm looking for a solution that allows me to play my ipod through my car speakers. The FM transmitters are static at best - and all the links I've seen in this forum take me to sites where, somehow, my year and model is the only one NOT supported...

Any comments or help would be awesome!!! Thanks
