BLUF: What are the exact dimensions of the sunroof seal on this make/model? How does one go about replacing just the seal?


Hello all! I am a new member to the forum and had a question -

A significant measure of time ago we were dealing with a leaking issue (which now i am realizing is likely due to the tubing) - however, at the time I made the rash decision to resort to a quick fix by applying rubber gluing to reinforce the seal - thus rendering the sunroof completely leak-proof but also non-functioning.

For a while I did not mind, but it started to annoy me that I could not use the sunroof that we had paid for. Recently I tried to carve out the cement glue in hopes to allow the sunroof to move - but the seal completely snapped.

Right now I simply inserted it back into place as much as I could and closed the sunroof once again.

I do not want to go back to the dealership and pay a fortune for them to do the repairs. Can anyone help?
