2006 Volvo S40 Lease
Looking at a Volvo S40 Lease offer for $249/month 27 months, 10,000 miles per year. 1000 down (includes first month payment and bank fees).
2.4i, Auto, Select and Climate package - MSRP 28,810. Lease payments are calculated on price of 22,000.
Sound like a good deal?
Any thoughts.
Thanks,
Greg

While leasing sounds like its a good deal, it really isn't. Leasing is a dealerships way of "saving you money" while stealing more from your pocket. One of my best friends dad was a salesmen at a 5 star dealership, and even they do it there at such a great dealership. I'd stay away from leasing.

RE: 2006 Volvo S40 Lease
Leasing can be a good idea if you are the type of person who only keeps a car for a couple of years. It is sometimes beneficial to lease the car for a few years rather than buying it and selling after a couple of years. The thing I would be worried about is the low mileage allowance on this particular lease. The average mileage per year is 12,000 - 15,000 miles. I know the penalty for going over your miles is ridiculous.
