Door Open light and other issues
Hi,
I own a 2000 S40 model and found 4 issues which I beleive are inter-related:
a. The key does not work which means I am not able to lock/unlock the car remotely.
b. I opened the car manually with the key and the alarm did not sound(I was expecting it to sound when the door was opened).
c. I see the "door open" light though all the doors/hood/trunk etc were closed.
d. When I tried to lock the doors from inside using the central lock button, the doors were not not getting locked. The door tried to lock but the lock popped to the "unlock" position.
Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks.

Central lock, radio and other fuse issues
Thanks, Tech.
Upon further research, the issue seems to be with Fuse # 5 in the engine compartment. The other symptoms that the car has are:
a. Radio not working
b. Glove compartment, courstesy lights, and rear reading lights are not working either.
Fuse # 5 is in the yellow fuseholder. How can I remove this fuseholder? The fuser holder encompasses 3 fuses and I want to make sure I do a proper job. I am told the radio code needs to be known as it is erased when this is pulled.
Thanks.
