I'm servicing the front brakes on a 2007 S40 and can't seem to get the driver-side front rotor off. I'm currently soaking the hub-rotor area with penetrating oil because hitting the rotor with a mallet didn't even make it budge. Any advice?

 

Nevermind, they both came off after I hit them on the front with a sledge hammer. After cleaning the hub I applied some anti-seize lubricant to make sure that doesn't happen again with the new rotors.

 

That's they way you do it. It is very common for any make car.
