When putting key in and turning the display says turn steering and try start again DSTC..... I have tried everything I know and nothing is working! Assistance please.........no clicking just sounds like a blinker is on for a few minutes!

Anyone heard of this? New one on me. Is there a stored trouble code? Do you have access to an OBD-II reader?

 

That is a new one on me too. Maybe if you stood on your head, spun three times, did the rain dance and then tried what it told you to do....On a serious note though, I would certainly suggest having the codes read, but unless I'm incorrect it would need to be a reader that can read the CAN system, as I believe your ride is a CAN car. Also, I'm not sure if most code readers will be able to read that particular type of code. Certainly can't hurt to give it a try though. If not, your local independent Volvo shop or dealer could.

 

Found out it was the steering lock went out! 600 bucks to repair and not warranty!
