New S40 owner here, just getting an ex motability 2008 S40 and am interested
to know if anyone has had the accessory front fog light kit fitted.
Happy to fit a kit myself if I can find one but would like to know the cost of teh kit and how much volvo charge for re programming to make it work.

I have a 2005 S40 and have been looking for the same thing but haven't found o a kit online. I ended up going to a dealership asking about it and they told me a fog light kit would cost $220, and if you ended up taking your car in to get the lights installed they said service would be an extra $240

 

Our Local dealer wants £104+20% vat, then £57 to reprogramme the car, so with me fitting the kit that will be around £200 all in. Not as bad as I was expecting.

 

You guys in the UK are lucky with your dealers. Much much better service and costs than in the US. When I lived there I was pleasantly surprised. Let's hope it continues.

 

I'm so glad mine came with the fog lights that's way to expensive for a kit. Why not look into an after market kit and install yourself? You could even put in some hid's (: I have mine to match my headlights
