2009 S40 Not accelerating in humid weather.
My 09 S40 is having issues getting fuel I believe. Only when it's raining outside. Also the problems goes away after driving for about 15 minutes. Hit the gas pedal and ,no rev, no accel, just limps along. It seems to me that it has to electrical if it's only when it's raining right? I'm no mechanic so any help would be appreciated.
It might be that moisture is messing with certain electrical parts, like the ignition system or sensors, making them act up sometimes.
Another possibility is a fuel pump that's not working right or a fuel filter that's all clogged up, causing the power to cut out now and then. You could try testing the fuel pressure and looking closely at the fuel system to see if there's anything wrong there.
Also, check all the wires and connections under the hood for any damage or loose bits.
