I've had my 2009 S40 since new, it's up to 107K miles and aside from a few recent issues with the transmission pan gasket and front bearings it has been very reliable.

I have had a whine on deceleration for quite some time (years!) which I have asked about but never received any good answers. I managed to get a short recording of it:

I don't think it has been getting any worse, but after getting the front wheel bearings taken care of I have been paying more attention to it.

Any ideas on what this could be would be appreciated.
