Hi,

I am currently installing S40 power seats in my 850. As my 850 doesn't have a compatible CCM I want to activate the heater modules manually via a switch. To do this I need the details of the inputs to the SHM's from the CCM or a circuit diagram of the circuit board within the SHM (part: 31268907)

Sounds like a pretty tricky upgrade. Personally if it was my 850, I'd probably just hack into the seat heater element wires, and rig the switch(es) to apply 12 volts to both of them on "high", and to put them in series (6 volts each) on "low", and call it a day. Otherwise you're going to have to figure out some way to replicate the digital magic that the car sends to the seat heater modules... yikes!
