Hello new friends!

Looks like I found a guy selling a well-cared-for garage queen S40 T5 AWD 6MT R Design, 76000 miles, has the 90k service done (timing belt, water pump), new Michelin tires, and he's asking $13,750. Seems a bit high but not outrageous. Clean CarFax, interior looks pretty much spotless. Thoughts?

 

That does sound like big money for the car, but it is kind of a unicorn, and sounds like it's very clean and well-prep'd. It may well be worth that in the big picture when you consider all the unique aspects of the vehicle.

I see the vehicle on Craigslist, and it does look nice enough.

I'd offer him $10k and see if he bites. The demand for that car should be pretty low, so he might be tempted to take a more reasonable offer.

 

I cant comment on Price as I am from a different country but it is much more than here , around 10k seems more reasonable
Ours is older but has similar km on 122k on and had to change the following
Front dampers
Front disks
PCV system /2 times
wiring for rear boot
fuel pressure regulator
Head lining as it started to sag

It is quite heavy on fuel compared to more modern cars but that will depend on how you drive it
I think its a great car
