Hi,

I'm having issues with the heat and AC working intermittently on our S40. The repair shop thinks the driver's side seat heat module needs replacement although the car does not have heated seats. Seems the module circuit works with the heat and AC damper controls. Anyone else have this problem?

You need codes read , could be the many things , sensors , flaps in the heater matrix etc , but if you dont have heated seats then you will not have the module
