5,000 Mile Problems!
Wow, my s40 has only 5k miles and its already had air distribution motor break down, and the siren system went defective, which techs spent 7 hours fixing (all under warranty).Havent even had my first maintanance yet.Ford can't be rubbing off on them too fast can they? Weird, my stang did go 70k miles w/o a problem.
Think this is a bad sign for things to come? Anyone else had problems like these so early in a car?

my alarm gets triggered automatically for some odd reason. i dont know why, maybe vibrations from the main road or rain that hawaii gets...??
my problems so far at 25600 miles.
1) outside light under side view mirror (driver side) fell off twice-repaired under warranty
2)key got stuck in ignition-repaired under warranty and given me a ford focus to drive around for a day or two(free)
3)tires wore down quick on the OEM-i just bought the BFG g-force kdw2
4)tranny mis-calculates shift point sometimes..my solution>>>> use a heavier foot

it's just another electrical problem with volvo. You will face many of them as you own your volvo(unfortunately)
Just to regular maintenances as you own your car. You also want to find out some other maintenances that Volvo doesn't mention in the manual. You will be surprised.
