about auxiliary drive belt
Hello everybody, I have a 2002 s40 1.9T. The manual said the auxiliary drive belt should be replaced at 105K mileage. I've done some online shopping search, but can't find it.
I'm wondering if anyone could tell me which category it belongs to and how to check the current working status of this belt.
Thanks!

I have never bought anything from ipd.com but they sell a serpertine belt for $33 for your S-40. I bought my drive belt for my S-60 from the stealer but I will never do that again.
The S-60 thread on Timing belts shows a bunch of pictures of "bad" belts that may help you.
You might be suprised how good they look when you replace them.

hi TawannaBe,
Thanks for you reply but I'm confused, you mean the Serpentine Belt is Auxiliary drive belt which mentioned in Volvo manual as following link?
http://new.volvocars.com/ownersdocs/...rranty_04.html
And you also talked about the timing belt, but I can't see it easily and I don't know how to remove the covers.
thanks!
