Default ABS/speedo/cruise problem

I pulled my ABS module out of my 2001 S40 and resoldered the connector pins and still have nothing and my abs and brake lights are still lit. I reflowed the solder just like I used to do when I was an ET in the Navy working in the 2M (Microminature electronic repair). I visually checked the circuit baord and noted nothing unusual.

Does anyone have a suggestion what to check next?

Cheers!

I recently purchased this car, the speedometer was working when I bought it, however, as I drove away, it quit. I tried to reflow the solder joints from top without removing the module and that didn't work. I pulled the speedo sensor out and cleaned it.

Is there a way to test the speedo sensor with a multimeter?

When I drove to work yesterday morning, everything worked. It was a cool morning and after 3 miles, everything stopped. I am wondering if this might be a heat issue.
