Has anyone tried adding turbo to their normally aspirated 2004.5 and up S40? Is this something that can be bolted on without further, complicated modifications? I see a few aftermarket turbo offerings online reasonably priced, but it appears those are replacements for already existing turbo model S40s.

I would bet money it would be cheaper to buy a T5 S40 than try to bolt on something to a normally aspirated S40. If you want a challenge I bet you could piece something together if you had a donor T5 car. You would have to like punishment though.

I'm never buying another non-turbo car. I like turbos so much I even fabbed one onto a 1986 Pontiac Fiero. Of course I could have bought something for less and had a whole lot less trouble, but I like that challenge (and, I guess, punishment).
