My fiance is looking at a 2005 S40 2.4i (and an 2005 S60 2.5T) both with auto trannies. I have been hearing bad things about the automatic transmissions and i wanted to see if you guys had any information to sooth the bad taste left with us. Do these models have common transmission problems? Any other things i should be looking at? I will be checking these cars over and I like to get some info before we look at the car for common problems to be on the look out for. But if the transmissions are a common problem it is going to really deter us from these vehicles as nice as they are.
