Bleeding air from coolant system
Hi all,
I am going to bleed air from my coolant system. I know there is a bleeding screw on the lower rad. hose, however, is there anything else I should do? Should I run it with the cap off until it gets to operating temperature? It is a 2001 volvo s40 with a 1.9t
Thanks all

When I used to do my 2002 and when I did my son's 2001, the bleeder screw seemed to be sufficient to get most of the air out. After driving the car a few times, check the level in the expansion tank and top off as needed.
Honda's tend to be a real pain getting the air out.

Hi, I'm new here!
I have a 2016 Volvo V40 D2 and I bleed air from the cooling system. I can't find the purge valve to vent the cooling system. Please if you know if he has such a car or how can I do this? Thanks
