'brake' light illuminated on dash when cornering
Lately, when I make 'sweeping' right turns (as getting on the interstate or exiting) a light that says 'brake' comes on. It only comes on during that process and at no other times. Car seems to drive ok, nothing else random yet. Thoughts?
It's not the 'parking brake' light, it's a seperate light. I've verified that.

Car has 60k; may be pads; no leaks but fluid was 2mm low or so; is there any easy way to check the pads without going somewhere? I don't want to get to 'grind' mode, i'd like to save my rotors.
Thanks for all the help so far.

If you can jack the car up anywhere do that and take a tire off and then take a look at how much meat is left from your pads. There is a sensor for the pads and if the sensor happens to get close enough to the rotor the light will set off as well.
